Caldecotte Xperience

Our amazing underground cave network has tunnels and caverns of all shapes and sizes. Crawl on your knees or get down on your belly. Communication skills are really tested and challenged here and participants need to listen, follow instructions carefully and work as a team to complete the challenges set. With areas of total darkness the caves are an ideal place to explore the light curriculum for science.

Caving can give young participants the opportunity to understand what it would be like to lose the sense of sight. A popular challenge that builds confidence, teamwork and peer support.

To book any of our activities please contact the centre and let us book your programme with you.

Working with young people with additional needs

We have some of the best additional needs facilities in the region and are the only local provider with adapted equipment and trained staff who can support young people with disabilities to fully participate in outdoor adventure learning and residential stays. We strive to ensure that the widest range of activities and programmes are available and accessible, even for young people with the most complex needs.
